What liberals are saying "the UN" can do no wrong?

I want names, duck. Names.

Oh, and if Tinsley was a county fair caricaturist, I'd ask for my money back.

Perhaps there will be an asterisk tomorrow?

And maybe the missing, closing doublequote.

(as well as the single quotes he neglected to use for the quotation within the quotation)

It's a terrible caricature of Bono, but it's a pretty good Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

I thought that, too, but on closer examination I think what we see in the second panel is Tinsley's trademark quadruple ellipsis.

Bruce got da mad punctuation skillz, yo.

Judging by their identical expressions, I have to assume that the girl with the patriotic shirt is also being molested by UN "peacekeepers."

Why do I suspect that Tinsley is one of those who dismissed Abu Ghraib as "a few bad apples"?

As always, it all depends on whose ox is being gored.

Regardless, though, Tinsley using molested children as a prop in his little war on the U.N. is starting to get more than a little unseemly. It's obvious this whole issue has him in a lather because it's the U.N., not because of the crimes. He's been trying mightily to turn it into a referendum on the U.N. as a whole, and I just don't see it. You could probably build a case like that with the other conservative U.N. obsession, the oil-for-food abuses, but as awful as the crimes here are, it doesn't sound like they're systemic.

Abu Ghraib was the fault of the MSM and Ted Kennedy.

I thought I was joking about the Bono caricature looking more like Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Then I came across this strip from 2003:

As Democrats continue to delight in using the Abu Ghraib scandal for political gain...

Et tu, Brucie?

The endless Washington Times cite is a little unseemly.
