Why do I suspect that Tinsley is one of those who dismissed Abu Ghraib as "a few bad apples"?
As always, it all depends on whose ox is being gored.
Regardless, though, Tinsley using molested children as a prop in his little war on the U.N. is starting to get more than a little unseemly. It's obvious this whole issue has him in a lather because it's the U.N., not because of the crimes. He's been trying mightily to turn it into a referendum on the U.N. as a whole, and I just don't see it. You could probably build a case like that with the other conservative U.N. obsession, the oil-for-food abuses, but as awful as the crimes here are, it doesn't sound like they're systemic.
