Bush Meeting Notes

This is pretty funny:

Notice that at this point, Bush *still* needs a written talking point to remind himself that "Saddam was a threat." You'd think that line would've been pounded into his skull a while ago...

Here's my best stab at the left side:

Saddam was a threat
sworn enemy of US
destabilizing force in
volatile part of world
had weapons of mass d - used them
ties to terrorist orgs
contacts with al Qaeda
over last decade

These are either talking points for the reporters' questions afer the cabinet meeting, or the actual notes Bush took during the cabinet meeting. Check out the transcript and judge for yourself.

The sheet at the top right is a list of White House reporters and their org. (It looks like the stationery says "THE PRESIDENT" at the top.) The top two (Deb Reichmann, David Morgan) were the only ones called on for a question, in order. (Again, see the transcript.)

The bottom right is harder -- it looks like:

Multiple reports of suggested
contacts with al Q
Iraqis to share
expertise

Fun.
