More Political Action Figures

Following the Flight Suit Bush of a few months ago, now there's this company with a full line of products, starting with their version of the classic (called "Top Gun George W. Bush"). These talk, too. I like the vaguely Barbie-ish Ann Coulter doll.

I think the packaging and shipping costs for the Rush doll were prohibitive.

Speaking of new dolls I hope they have a Wesley Clark doll soon. Or, rather, a Wesley Clark sock puppet included with the Clinton doll.

I'd rather have Bill Clinton's sock puppet than Dick Cheney's sock puppet...

And this I don't quite understand. I realize Clinton seems to be supporting Clark, but he still is the guy who *fired* Clark after Kosovo.

There was a good article in Time (IIRC) about Clark a few weeks back. It discussed how Clark was not so much "fired" as "pushed out of the way" so another general could be promoted before retirement.

Patrick, I am very curious, did you honestly believe that article in Time was completely truthfull?

Some felt that Clark was only used as needed, fired and then Clinton supports him again now (and only because) he is running.

I am unclear on Clark being fired, was it solely his recommendation on attacking the Russians?

a) Did you read the article?
b) Do you honestly believe what Rush Limbaugh tells you?

Of course, I don't believe anything in the mass media news outlets, as they are all run by twisted liberals.

Not from most of what I'm hearing -- the order to prevent the Russians from occupying the airport came from higher up. The Brits balked, there was much spirited discussion, and the whole point became moot for some reason I don't remember.

I was also under the impression that Clark was fired less because of the airport incident than because he was appearing on TV too much for the Pentagon's tastes.

A. No.
B. No, he is an extremist and I do not listen to him.

So, you did believe the article. I would never suggest that Time tends to be biased to the left.

I'm not even sure it was Time. I'm generally too cheap to buy magazines, so I go to the grocery and treat it like a library.
