What is this "EROC"?

Just what the name says.

BTW, the best Easybeats comp I've heard is Absolute Anthology, a 2-disc set released by EMI Australia in the mid-80's. Most tracks are mono and the sound is pretty damn good.

It was up on Pedro's a couple of months back but seems to have disappeared.

Too bad. I was looking forward to voting. Personally, I think your SC website is a big shithole...but props to Ryan for donating the money. That was very cool.

I give up. There must be two versions of Absolute Anthology, because I have it and it sounds absolutely *wretched*. The only stuff that's mono is the stuff that's pretty much always mono (i.e. no "Friday on my Mind" album in mono), there's what sounds like *surface noise* on many tracks (how is "For My Woman" not from vinyl, exactly? Same with "Sorry."). Large chunks were clearly taken from vinyl...I mean, I think it only sounds decent if you've never heard anything else.

Maybe it was upgraded at some point?

Seconded. Too much hating there, not nearly enough discussion of the Who, Kinks, Stones, Airplane, Dylan, Cream, and the Who.

Not nearly enough discussion about anything other than Steve Hoffman et al.

That, and how crap your favorite bands are.

It's an awful place.

I recommend you delete it.

I think prog is cool. That's my favorite.

It's an awful place.

Now you're getting it.

I recommend you delete it.

I recommend you have a Prog Tourney. I want to cast my vote.

Sounds like fun. Come on over and set one up. (I'm tired.)

Nah, I'm only a slacker boomer (who likes prog). Thanks for the offer though! Oh, and keep up the good work on the charity front. Very nice indeed!

No, he's obviously a fake. The lack of an "e" on the end always gives it away. We Huntes are on to him.

Gosh, Mike, it would be so cool if you started up a Stereo Central parody site! :D

Please give us the URL so that we can all come over and discuss our favorite Ozark Mountain Daredevils matrix numbers! :D
