The mixes are the same as the DVD.
It's the first time on CD for the Cold Turkey remix (including the crazy panning at the end).
Instant Karma / Stand By Me / Whatever Gets You / Power To The People are all faded to match their original release - you need the DVD for the extended right-till-it-falls-apart versions.
In the UK Happy Xmas got a rerelease as a CD single in 1993. It had the DVD version of Happy Xmas, the remix of Imagine and uniquely the extended remix of Instant Karma.
Heresy I know but I like the remixes on the whole.... Meat City and Number 9 Dream are lacking something and the intro to Cold Turkey is a bit "bolted on". I think Oh Yoko feels a bit different too. On the whole though - bring it on. The Mind Games album in particular sounds great....

Looks like both of these will be released in the U.S. on November 22. The "Walls and Bridges" tracklisting is the same as posted above. The "Sometime in New York City" is now split on two cd's entitled "Sometime in New York City/Live Jam" with the same track list. I wonder if there will be longer versions on the U.S. release? I can't see why they would have the same tracks on one disc in the U.K. as opposed to two in the U.S.
Track list for the U.S. "Sometime...":
Disc: 1
1. Woman Is the Nigger of the World - Elephant's Memory
2. Sisters, O Sisters
3. Attica State - Mothers of Invention
4. Born in a Prison - John Lennon & the Plastic Ono Band
5. New York City
6. Sunday Bloody Sunday - Mothers of Invention
7. Luck of the Irish - John Lennon & the Plastic Ono Band
8. John Sinclair
9. Angela - Mothers of Invention
10. We're All Water - Invisible Strings
Disc: 2
1. Cold Turkey
2. Don't Worry, Kyoko (Mummy's Only Looking for Her Hand in the Snow)
3. Well (Baby Please Don't Go) - Elephant's Memory
4. Jamrag - Invisible Strings
5. Scumbag
6. Au

Actually, these aren't bad reissues. I like Walls and Bridges in particular. I don't believe I have heard the "Nobody Loves You...." outtake before. The Bob Mercer interview is OK, Lennon names the band players and sends a few messages to resellers.
