Al Franken is a flaccid penis!!!

Recently it's come out that Al Franken wasn't 100% truthful in a letter written to John Ashcroft and others:

Obviously, this was quickly picked up on by some:

Hundreds of thousands of young men and women have signed chastity pledges as part of both faith-based and secular programs.

Michelle Malkin obviously hasn't read the book, Franken points out that abstinence only education is basically a failure:

A Northern Kentucky University study showed that 61 percent of college undergraduates who had taken virginity pledges broke them - and were less likely to use condoms when they had sex for the first time than were those students who had never taken the pledge in the first place.

Reading this stuff, you'd think this was all some breaking undercover news story. Yet on p285-6 in the book, there's the letter. And as Franken himself states on the next page "Also, I got in trouble for using Harvard letterhead."

Yeah, I know. This isn't terribly scandalous...I just hope Ashcroft's immortal soul is OK after reading the word "penis."

I thought the Ashcroft thing, was a little DUMB.

It seems to me, that the, intentional, letterhead "error", was something he didn't have to do, but he felt some personal, psychological need, to do. Kind of like calling up a grocery store or a person, and asking them if they have Prince Albert in a can.

I like to think Franken is more intelligent than this, but apparently he is just a little too immature, and unprofessional, and he JUST can't help himself.

I'm sure that MOST of his fans, either, won't notice this, and don't want to see it, but, to me, it's sad, that he made a public spectacle out of himself, and cosigned ALL of his future efforts to the Stupid Joke Department, and page 50 of the news.

What Franken doesn't seem to get, is that, you don't have to stoop to engaging in the same tactics of your adversaries, to get Them. Just being honest, in the face of arogance, exposes it to EVERYONE. Now, Franken shot himself in the foot, and exposed himself, as being no better than his foils.

Very disappointing, very disappointing !
