Al Franken's new book...

Postby Xenu » Fri Aug 22, 2003 5:57 pm

...from what I read at Borders, at least (the first few chapters) is surprisingly measured, calm, and reasonable. AND surprisingly funny.

I'm not normally a fan of his, but I think he's done his job right this time out.

Someone is selling a VHS tape of the O'Reilly v. Franken thing:

Looks like Franken's new book is $17.47 at Amazon. Anyone seen a better price?

I think that's about what I paid in store at Borders.

The C-SPAN thing is on the net. Or at least it was.

I'm a little past halfway through with the book. Quite enlightening so far. The comedy is good, but the facts are even better.
