Quick question.
So, yes, I know many of the Silverline surround-sound DVD-As are middling to atrocious. I'm speaking specifically of their 60s lineup, and *especially* stuff they liscense from Sanctuary/Castle...a company which, FWIW, is notorious for reissuing something 40,000 times, using the same tapes/digital transfers each time (count how many iterations of "The Immediate Singles Collection" there are out there some time).
The thing is, while I know the surround portions of these DVDAs suck, what about the MLP stereo portions? They tend to have them, right? Are they pretty good, or is it just the same Castle digital mastering upsampled? (i.e. Pentangle, The British Are Coming, etc.).
