"Cris" Thomas?

Postby lukpac » Sun Mar 06, 2005 8:33 pm

Am I going crazy?

Don't answer that.

Ok, so I seem to remember reading something - I *thought* it was in Lewisohn - about someone named Chris Thomas, who was *not* the Beatles/Badfinger/Pete Townshend producer. I thought there was a blurb along the lines of "...who now goes by 'Cris' as to not be confused with the popular producer." However, I've looked up every page listed in the index of Lewisohn for "Chris Thomas", and I've got nothing. I can't seem to find anything via Google, either.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

You're thinking of Cris Neal, not Thomas. (See p. 17 of Lewisohn.)

I believe the Chris Thomas who worked with the Beatles circa the White Album was the same person who later worked with Badfinger, Townshend, etc.

Bingo, that's it.

Yes, he was (Chris Thomas).
