Hillary Clintons new book details her pain.

Expect plenty of disagreement. Just keep it civil.

Windows to the soul? They're just contacts. Hell, by that reasoning, sun glasses are pure evil or something.

Are the millions of others who have colored contacts also "hiding their souls"? Or do they simply think another color looks better?

Look, it's just a saying.

But with Hillary, I would think she is trying to look...ahem..."warmer", more lovable. We are talking about a person, who lives in a fishbowl, and wants to be liked...no matter how wretched she is, personally, and apparently, the "Numbers" show that she would be more "loved", if she had blue eyes.

After all, we are talking about a very possible, future US president, here, not Suzie at the local hairdressers, so she is "fair game" for endless, stupid, speculation!

I think it's very funny to see personal psycho-dramas, played out on the public stage. Let's face it....Bush, et al, is tooo dull, in that department, but just as dangerous, in his own way.

It's close to beating Jerry Springer Show ! And I said CLOSE !!!

Such speculation may or may not be true, but such a thing certainly isn't unique. Refining one's image is the name of the game in politics. Colored contacts are really no different from different clothes, a different haircut, etc.

Perhaps Hillary is "playing the numbers". Or perhaps she just didn't like the way her eyes looked. Either way, it sure seems silly to be discussing it as if it were some big deal or something.

Shrug. I hated Reagan as much as anyone, but his awful dye-job never really bothered me. Personal vanity isn't monopolized by either the right or the left.

Now, Bush's overstuffed "package" when he had on the flight suit...

If they did, they wouldn't do it. The titanic ego required to pursue a career in politics probably blinds them. Regardless, though, I see worse "appearance enhancement" atrocities in my office every day.
