There's so much wrong with this I can't figure out how to respond.
Response 1:
Hey! Remember when the media admitted that they were irresponsible and hasty in doing thousands of gleeful stories about Clinton bombing al Qaeda to distract attention from his blowjob, when bin Laden was really a legitimate threat?
Oh yeah, neither do I.
Response 2:
Last I checked, the State Department was part of the executive branch.
Response 3:
So, Karl Rove telling reporters that Plame was "fair game" was irrelevant since Armitage (Deputy SecState = "some guy") also revealed the info?
In the final analysis, I'll just chalk it up to Tinsley's deranged multi-colored-duck-infested imagination.

There you go, splitting straws again.

Ducks says: "changed the 9/11 program to make the Clinton administration look better"
Reality: "changed wholly fictionalized scenes that advanced right-wing talking points and contradicted the actual record"
But we always knew the duck wasn't reality-based.

Tinsley didn't get where he is today without being a master of the Copy + Paste functions on his PC.
We were right about Vietnam. We were right about Nixon. We were right about Reaganomics. Trust us -- we're right about Bush, too.

This strip is bizarre even for Tinsley.
First, he sees Democrats as "drunk with power" over something that was at best a partial victory.
Second, he apparently believes the ultimate compliment for one of the Democrats' most prominent women is to call her "da man."
As for Charlie Gibson in a tutu, maybe Tinsley should have kept that fantasy to himself.
(And that's two gender-bending nonsequiturs in one strip!)
