Apparently they "enjoy" it enough to devote 23 pages to it.

This one's got it all. Tinsley socks it to lowered academic standards AND promoters of "diversity" AND working mothers AND turnips.

Uh, I guess.

And UC Berkeley.

I guess we shouldn't ponder the possibility that Tinsley remains employed only due to "affirmative action" in the sense that many newspapers feel the need to run a "conservative" political strip, no matter how unfunny, to "balance" "Doonesbury," "Boondocks" and "Non Sequitur."

(And "B.C." doesn't count, having been grandfathered in by merit of having been largely apolitical and sorta funny at some point in the past.)

Does even Tinsley understand what he's blaming the liberal MSM for this time?

Yeah, is the second one a jab at Gibson, or everyone else for caring?

And I find it amusing when Tinsley does these "timely" strips, at which point the stories are long out of the spotlight.

Things would be much better if rich movie stars (who profess to have something important to say about morality) could have their drunk-driving and Jew-hating kept hushed up to protect their box office appeal (and popularity among evangelist Christians).

Maybe I'm giving him too much credit, but I think maybe the point of the second strip at least is to mock the fact that the media placed more attention on the anti-Semitic comments than on the much more serious offense of driving drunk. Which actually (I hate to admit) seems a valid point. Although not one that's expressed in a comic strip which is funny or even coherent.

It's no surprise that he gets his own TV show, since TV executives are all ugly Jewish stereotypes:

Jews = bad

Except when talking about the Middle East, then:

Jews = good

Hear that, Xenu?

This appears to be the Bozell piece referenced in the footnote.

Isn't there a difference between "your religion is a sham" and "your religion's followers are the cause of all the world's problems"?
