Eleanor Roosevelt jokes? How edgy.

What's the morning line on if the "blue helmet of peacefulness" will appear?

Tinsley's email: mallardmail@yahoo.com

Maybe we should invite him here??

From his Bio:

Bruce Tinsley is the creator of the comic strip, "Mallard Fillmore."
Bruce was born in Louisville, KY, has been a reporter, editorial writer and copy editor for newspapers in Kentucky, Virginia and Washington, DC.

The artist, who is in his early 40s, acknowledges that the main character in his comic strip is based wholly on himself.

In newspapers around the country, Tinsley's work generates loads of reader mail, much of it contentious.

"Some like me," he says. "And some really hate me, but that just lets me know that I'm doing my job."

Tinsley was a Reader's Digest Fellow at Indiana University's graduate school of journalism. He says he hopes to teach someday.

He, along with his wife Arlette and their two children, live in Indiana.

I don't hate him. I just think he's dumb.

Heck, that's nothing. Jane Fonda flounced around naked in a fur-lined spaceship.

How much do you want to bet nobody actually e-mails Tinsley?

It's clear these "response" strips are just bull anyway, since they are written weeks before anyone would actually see the strips they reference.

What liberals are saying "the UN" can do no wrong?

Perhaps there will be an asterisk tomorrow?
