I went looking for the old VHS copy of this I got years ago in a trade ... and, of course, I can't find it anywhere in the house.

It's actually no big loss, as the quality of that copy was abysmal. Does anyone know if the film has ever circulated in high quality? I've seen references online to a 2003 DVD put out by "Watchdog" that supposedly looks very good ... Has anyone ever seen it?

Just for the heck of it.. what do you guys think of EtD? I d/l'ed it once, long ago (a really lousy rip), and frankly I didn't know what to make of it.

All that jump-cut editing really got on my nerves, and seeing all those butchered clips from the '66 tour was almost too much to bear.

Here's hoping someone will come to their senses one of these days and release the entire, un-cut, unedited Pennebaker footage that went into the 'stage' segments of EtD.

I didn't care much for it. Certainly not as coherent and compelling as "Don't Look Back."
