Got a funny story to post? Just want to talk? This would be a good place for that.

In California they have legal pot for medical conditions. You know things like not being able to sleep, a bad head ache, nerves, stress, and back ache, or you just feel not so hot. Whatever ails you, there is help, and it is not too far away.

And it is available 24 hours a day via vending machines.

And did you see the varieties available as mentioned in that article?

choice of five, including OG Cush and Granddaddy Purple, the mildly hallucinogenic forebear to Prince.

If you go into one of the pot dispensaries, or "pot stores" as they are called, there are more types of smoke available.
Ones like:
Maui Wowie Afhgooey
Trainwreck
Care Blueberry
Super Silver Haze
Sour Diesel
Big Bud

Then of course there is the edibles which are kept in the refrigerator. Brownies, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Carmel Squares, and also butter for cooking up your own delicious treats, like if you wanted to make anything that uses butter in the recipe, then you could just use the butter. You just would have to make sure you did not over do it because this stuff is strong. No skimping here on the potency. So you should eat a very small amount and wait a good 45 minutes before eating more. Two small cookies at once would be overdoing it.

Also these friendly places all compete for your business, so if you were to go in and buy say an eighth or a quarter of Maui Wowie, you just ask for a sample of an edible, and they drop a couple of cookies in your small shopping bag. They have free samples of many items, and all you have to do is ask. Sometimes they just drop samples in your bag without you even having to ask. Like a holiday special, or an anniversary of their pharmacy opening, etc.

I like to go into one of the ones not too far from me and just look at all the stuff, and talk to them about what all this means. There are some really sick people who are in need of something that makes them hungry so that they can eat. So this is good for many people. But if you drop in late on a Friday or Saturday afternoon or early evening, you see young folks dressed up and ready to go out to the clubs around Hollywood and the Sunset Strip. They don't look sick at all. They look like they are about ready to rock.
