Screen capture utils for Mac

Postby Patrick M » Fri Sep 26, 2003 7:21 pm

There are a couple of utils built into OS X (Grab and "screencapture" from a command prompt), but I need something that will capture a full window, so I can do a screen cap of long web page and have it capture the whole thing by auto-scrolling.

I tried Ambrosia's Snapz Pro, but I don't think it has this funcionality.

Any ideas?

SnagIt for Windows will do it easily. I'd be surprised if there is no option for the Mac.

Just scroll and take multiple shots, then stitch them together in Photoshop.

Bahh.

If SnagIt can do it, Snapz should be able to.

If you're trying to do screen caps of long web pages, stitching the images together could be a real PITA.

I've done it. It's not hard.
