See you had Republicans voting Dem this year, and some being "out" about it. Think about the ones that decided to be private and do the right thing for their kids sake, while attending parties for the R ticket. I do not recall reading about Republicans endorsing a Dem candidate previously.

I have genuine tears of joy in my eyes. This is absolutely wonderful. I never thought I would see an African-American president in my lifetime. Remarkable.

I'm under 40, but I didn't think I'd see this in my lifetime. I only wish we were giving him a better country. But (as corny as it sounds) I have to admit to a tiny bit of hope.

His timing was very good. Had there been better leadership in Washington, he'd have never made it.

But now we can begin a long healing process. We could not even do that an hour ago.
