What do you mean? Did you expect some party favors to be passed out?

I'm used to these victory speeches being made to some crowd of volunteers and cronies in a Hyatt somewhere. This is... different.

I wanted the party to continue for a while longer. I'm too buzzed to get any work done, and now what do I do? Go out for a burger?

I need to follow the California issues at stake. It is not all over here just yet.

I've gotta say that Michelle Obama is the hottest First Lady in recent memory.

I'd say she's the hottest First Lady period. Jackie O was overrated.

(And by period, I mean "full stop," not "menstruation." Just want to clear that up.)

And notice, she wasn't wearing some $150,000 outfit either.

Another thing that struck me was how when Obama mentioned McCain's name, his supporters cheered unlike McCain's supporters, who gave more of the same.

One can only wonder if the n-word was shouted and not picked up by the mics.

At least there is no controversy, no doubt who won.

Many of us were worried about weeks of litigation and court cases.

This is clean and tidy. Time for healing if we are able to.

Agreed. I don't think I could have handled another nail-biter into the next day.

538 seems to have called it pretty damn close, obviously there are a few states still undecided, but oh what a night!

This is fucking sweet. I can't wait to see what Rush and Hannity have to say tomorrow. America held hostage: Day 1

I really tried to explain to a girl I work with today that letting the Bush tax cuts expire wasn't socialism. Pointed at that her boy McCain voted against said tax cuts, etc and she just couldn't get it. I'm so tired of all that shit.
