I think we'd all be better off if they just seceded from the Union.

OK, now CNN has finally put it in the blue column.

I lived there for 9 years, and it is all intentional.

I'll feel a lot better when they call PA.

Well, Fox called PA for Obama, so I guess I can relax about that.

I was in Florida for the 2006 elections and the papers were there were talking about Duval County (Jacksonville) was started to turn a little more towards the blue.

My first year there was such a cluster than I didn't vote in 2006, but did get all my stuff straight in anticipation for this election, only to move to TN before the election even happened!

GA called for McCain. I didn't really expect much to happen there. Chambliss will probably win, too.

Strange, isn't it? Virginia was the swing state with the largest lead for Obama (other than PA) a week and a half ago. Now, it's looking like it might be the one that he doesn't flip.

Then again, I'm not sure how many northern areas of the state are being reported yet. They're still saying too close to call.

MSNBC just showed a VA map a bit ago and there are a few north and east counties that haven't reported yet. It doesn't look over quite yet.

Awesome. Now give me another couple of swing states, and this thing is looking mighty fine.

Wow, if I read MSNBC's map correctly, it looks Duval County is in the Obama column right now.

They'll never learn.

I haven't seen them, so perhaps they aren't what I'm thinking of, but here in WI (Madison?) the ballots are optical scan, and you complete a line between two marks to vote. Pretty simple, although I can't find an example online.

well in the center of the US there will be some nice downhill riddin' for McCain before he gets slam dunked hard in the west.
