Bush: Saddam WAS the WMDs

It all makes sense now. But was he biological, chemical, or nuclear?

You might have *tried* to do the same thing , George...but the public and political support would *not* have been there, without the WMD fright tactics...and that's why toppling Saddam for its own sake (to topple a tyrant) was NOT the main argument you made.
