The other difference between Tinsley and the "greens"?

Tinsley's the one who got a motherfucking DUI last December.

No, no, no. Tinsley got the DUI. The duck didn't. It's the duck that bikes everywhere.

But he's still green -- Tinsley fuels his 1977 International Harvester Scout with grain alcohol and liquefied illegal immigrants. At least, he will once his license gets un-suspended.

I can see why Johnny Hart was Tinsley's idol, given that he sometimes recycled old drawings and simply added new captions to them, especially in his later years. He also was given to self-aggrandizement, claiming falsely that he was the most widely-read cartoonist in the world. He also was a recovering alcoholic, although of course Tinsley hasn't managed to emulate the "recovering" part yet.

It's surely his fault somehow.

In thinking about this some more, how is this an issue with the Democrats? It was mostly Republicans asking for his resignation, wasn't it?

And that's a pretty pathetic donkey.

I wasn't aware of Democrats doing anything beyond snickering over Craig's predicament.

Pinheads and Patriots

Today, the Mallard Fillmore comic strip featured this business, the duck saying, quote, "Now the mainstream media are picking up left-wing blogs' lies about Bill O'Reilly and running them as facts. Take it from me, Bill, this just means you've arrived."

Yes, but is the destination worth it, Mallard?

Bruce Tinsley, the author of this strip, is a patriot.
