All this talk of dog-eating makes me want to crack (no pun intended) a disgusting joke about eating pussy. I'll refrain, though.

Comedy clue #294: when your disclaimer is longer than your joke, the joke probably isn't worth the effort.

Bruce really needs to put down the Wild Turkey long enough to get through a strip.

Sure enough, the media's all abuzz over what the duck will do next.

(sound of crickets chirping)

Is Tinsley finally getting around to his Michael Richards strips?

Is this supposed to be the threat?

Won't the duck's various dream candidates (Tom Coburn, William F. Buckley, and now Walter Williams) split the vote?

A member of the moneyed, elite, East Coast, Ivy-educated, martini-swilling, drunk-wife-hiding, topsiders-wearing, big-word-using intelligentsia? *That's* what a real conservative looks like?

Who knew?

And why does the duck keeps changing from black to white? Is there an ink shortage?

The duck is white whenever the background is black, and black whenever the background is white.

It's (a) an extremely subtle jab at Hillary Clinton, (b) yet another example of Tinsley's artistic incompetence, or (c) the result of Tinsley's attempts to clean up after spilling Mad Dog 20/20 all over his strip.

It's just one delusion after another for Tinsley, isn't it?

And did he mention that Howard Dean is fucking nuts?

You need a citation to say somebody talks at college campuses?

The citations prove that Mallard is "entirely factual." What's Wrong With Mallard Fillmore called my attention to this delightful letter to the editor:

I really loved last week's series of cartoons, "Doonesbury" and "Mallard Fillmore" in the Opinion section.

One thing I noticed, though: The "liberal" strip, "Doonesbury," was entirely fictional with Donald Trump trying to get George Bush into his squabble with Rosie O'Donnell.

On the other hand, the "conservative" strip, "Mallard Fillmore," was entirely factual, complete with citations from current news sources.
Very telling.

— Henry Babcock, Ventura

The "entirely factual" strips in question? The unforgettable riff on dog-eating in China.

This is what Walter Williams really looks like:
