Geez. That's truly embarrassing. Could his syndicate maybe just tell him they're publishing his stuff, and then not do it, and send him a bunch of fake outraged e-mails to keep him quiet?

If Tinsley needs to work out some sort of childhood duck trauma via these strips, good for him, but the rest of us don't need to be subjected to it.

Oh yeah, the reason the Republicans lost both houses of Congress is because the American people are concerned about the budget deficit. Couldn't possibly have anything to do with Iraq.

It's certainly true that the election results were based on opposition to the Republicans rather than support for the Democrats, but I think the Democratic leadership is entirely aware of that. That's the whole reason they ran a "sit back and do nothing" campaign.
