They came for the immigrants, and I didn't say anything because I wasn't an immigrant...

A bill to establish national identification card standards and restrict asylum claims also contains a controversial provision to empower the Secretary of Homeland Security to waive any and all laws in the course of securing the borders from illegal immigration. The provision also includes an exemption from judicial review that not only shields the waiver decisions from court scrutiny but also strips courts of any power to order remedies for anyone harmed by the consequences of such decisions.

Just by posting that link and implying through your comment that you object to this, you have revealed yourself to be anti-American. Can't you see that these are dangerous times? Just read through the synopsis you provided of the last SOTU...look at the number of mentions of "terror" "9/11/01" "Iraq" "WMD" and so on. You can't possibly think that we can expect the same kind of freedom we had on 9/10/01.

Follow me now: the terrorists hate our freedom, so they attacked us on 9/11. As a result of that attack, the government is taking away some of our freedom, in order to protect us from those who would like us to be less free.

Who won, again?
