I can't say I'm surprised. At the same time, I don't expect this to have any impact. When Bush gave his infamous "Levies" quote, the general response was "You're pretty full of shit." Knowing that he's personally full of shit--and that his statement was a lie instead of ignorance/intentional miscommunication--doesn't really change the reality of the event.

This is getting quite a bit of coverage on the local news, and Louisiana ain't exactly close by.

You libs need to move on. Bush has explained over and over that when he said that, he was referring to the "surprise" of how bad things were after the first day of "dodged a bullet" news reports.

(Yeah, I know, it doesn't make any sense to me, either.)

Everyone needs to read the main article in this month's Harper's Magazine, called 'Impeach Him".

And to skip the article by Celia Faber, where she argues that because some AIDS drug trials have been corrupt, HIV doesn't cause AIDS.
