Yeah, about the judges, I was surprised more people didn't pick it up as a Bush victory. The majority votes were still there - if they aren't going to veto on them, what did they think was going to happen? A bunch of senators magically changing their minds and voting the other way? All blocked nominees have the votes to go through now, period, and it doesn't mean shit about saving the veto because the next time someone tries to use it, the other side just claims it's being abused (they'll come up with some reason, you always can), and bam, kill it. It was bullshit news, period, nothing to celebrate about.
