When setting up a new A/V receiver, take care not to inadvertently cross the "center" and "subwoofer" interconnects for the 5.1 analog connection. This will create unintended and unwanted effects when listening to multichannel SACDs and DVD-As.

I have more expert tips of this nature if anyone is interested.

Here's one I got from SHtv!

If you play a multichannel SACD in your new SACD player, and you don't hear anything coming out of teh center and surround channels, make sure it's not a stereo SACD!

This stuff is gold, GOLD!
