Does anyone have a recommendation as to the best place to start?

yes, the best place to start is the double Live at Carnegie Hall set. Single CD of double album was not really live, but a studio set.

Anyway, great sound, all the best songs, and Jimmy in his prime imho. Original label was Vee-Jay Records

MFSL did a CD of it Audio Fidelity did a SACD/CD. Both are the best places to start.
