Anyone read Glimpses by Lewis Shiner? It's about this guy who goes back and hangs out with various bands as they create albums that were never finished: Hendrix and First Rays, The Doors and Celebration of the Lizard, the Beach Boys and Smile, and finally The Beatles and Get Back. It's a fun read...
