Was just in the village. Dear lord! Despite the apparent scarcity of any new material, the "Beatles" section of any given store I went into was chock full of new versions of the same old shit. Hilarious that old "source" boots like "Studio 2 Sessions At Abbey Road" go uncopied while there're four pirates of the "Harri-Spector Show" out there.
On that note, BTW...does anybody have any of those DVD pirates of promo videos? There're like 20 variations on the same thing out, and I wanted to know if any were actually worth it.

I saw a set last year at a Beatles convention in town and the DVD looked like a copy of a copy of a copy. It was essentially a sharper version of my distorted VHS copy that I already have so I couldn't justify $30 for it. I'm sure there's got to be decent versions out there, but I haven't seen any.
On the other hand, they had a McCartney that was during the Wings days which was stellar quality, but I couldn't justify $30 on that. If I recall, it was pretty short.
