Robert Palmer dead

Postby Patrick M » Fri Sep 26, 2003 2:31 pm

From robertpalmer.com:

Robert Palmer tragically died of a heart attack in Paris early this morning. he was 54. Everyone here and at Universal Music is shocked and saddened by his death.

robert had enjoyed much critical acclaim for his new Album, Drive, released in May this year and from speaking to musicians involved in its production, Robert had enjoyed making this new album greatly.

our thoughts are with his friends and family at this tragic time and we appreciate the kind words from fans all around the world.

Wow, that was unexpected. Only 54? That's a real shame.

A loss.

As far as his music goes, I LOVED "Clues" and the live at the Apollo cd.

Check them out !
