What do you want to bet they have a filter set up that sets off alerts at Gort Central of the URL of FLO gets passed through the system?

David, Dennis -- was *anything* in my PM to Andrew even remotely spam? Did anything in his reply suggest he was ticked off? I really doubt he complained, based on the tone of his reply.

I replied back to "MagicAlex" declining to argue and apologizing for any harm done to Andrew.

What a load. What a bunch of petty power-trippers. Bye-bye SH. I'm reasonably sure I'll get banned after this post, anyway.

PS - Oh, and the subject of the e-mail was "PM Priviledges." Christ, they can't even punish me without spelling something wrong!

How exactly is inviting someone to another forum "spamming"?

And people wonder why I have a problem with what that forum has turned into...

So explain how what you've done, Ryan, even comes close to meeting the letter or even spirit of the definition? You can't, can you? I didn't think so. Goes to show that superior GREs are not the end-all in intelligence. There are, after all, individuals with powers greater than yours [though none on *this* board, that's for sure].

Except in Gortland, where it means "any PM we don't like."

Not necessarily. There's a *chance* that Andrew passed it on, although I doubt it. Probably more likely, as Ryan mentioned, is that they have some kind of filter set up to notify the gorts if this URL passes through the PM system.

I've talked to him. They apparently asked him if he was being "harassed." Cordial and gentlemanly, though, as always.

I don't want to drag him into this either.

Sheesh. Well, if the opportunity arises, let him know that I'm sorry if he felt "harassed" in any way.

If they approached him, though, that means they're indeed monitoring the PMs. No wonder they need 537 moderators.

Luke, being new to this forum, can you fill me in on why the mention of your forum would cause such odd behaviour on part of the SH gorts?

Well, the whole reason this forum exists is because SH.tv was becoming increasingly heavy handed. First David was suspended/banned, and when I tried sticking up for him, I was suspended/banned. All along their motto has been "play nice and you can come back", but the whole experience just made me say "enough".

Several people from SH.tv have come over here, either in addition to or in place of that forum. Mentions of this forum over there have resulted in edited/deleted posts, removal of PM privileges, etc.

Why such odd behavior? I think that's a question we've all been trying to figure out.
