Quad 5.1 tracks -- when were they mixed?

Postby krabapple » Tue Dec 27, 2011 3:56 pm

Figured this would be the place to ask --

That handful of 5.1 tracks on the deluxe box -- are those the ones Pete worked on some years back for a 5.1 Quadrophenia release that he 'got bored with' (I remember reading) , or were they created just for this new release?

(They sound like ass, btw. So I'm hoping it's just because they were never really 'finished'.)

Supposedly they were done relatively recently, but some folks have claimed they are "leftovers" from the earlier project. Can't say I know for certain.

Somebody really liked reverb.

Sheesh, no kidding. It was mixed in the same cavern as the 5.1 Fragile.
