The Polydor CD & Classic LP both a have a chunk missing towards the end of the song. And it doesn't happen symmetrically on a beat. It's as if someone sliced out a random piece of tape.

I just listened to the last minute on the version from the box and didn't notice anything. Time?

I just listened to the box. It doesn't happen there, but I could have sworn it did.

It DOES happen on the Classic LP and Polydor CD, though. WTF?

Samples coming soon.

Here's a sample of the Classic LP.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/yqi831

The cut is more on the beat than I remembered, but it's there...basically, four "la" are edited out.

I don't have the Polydor CD anymore but I compared it to the Classic LP once and they both have the same cut.

I wonder why I've never seen discussion about this? Granted, I haven't been to SHitville in a long time.

Huh, I never noticed that. Then again, I never listened to the mono mix much.

I should check the old Polydor CD and 30 Years...

'Thirty Years' has it intact...

Nope. Listening to the Polydor CD now and it doesn't have that edit.

I checked the Jap AQO box and it doesn't have the cut either. I must be losing my mind. I know I compared the Classic LP to *something* and it also had the cut. Maybe someone else's rip?

My Polydor CD does not have the edit either.

Does anyone out there have the Classic LP or a rip thereof that isn't mine? I gotta get to the bottom of this.
