Cargoe LP

Postby Xenu » Thu Sep 25, 2008 6:49 pm

Hey all,

Having finally managed to acquire the Ardent "Thank You Friends" set, I was struck by how completely and utter awesome Cargoe's "Feel Alright" is. For straightforward powerpop, it's pretty damn perfect.

I initially thought it was a one-off, but the band seems to have made an album; unfortunately, while it HAS been released on CD, it was many moons ago. And only in Japan. So, in other words, it trades for quite a few dollars.

There's a shitty LP rip available online, but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask: anybody own this? Worthwhile? Not worthwhile? Reissue decent at all?

I was blown away by Feel Alrigt too. No idea about the album though. I'm excited about the (supposedly) forthcoming Big Star box set.
