It was my understanding that from the time you first got a houseboy your sheep-fucking days were finished. Did I somehow get that wrong?

'The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway' (Genesis) and 'Mary Had A Little Lamb' (Paul McCartney) are my choices

W.A.S.P. -- "Fuck Like A Beast"
Spinal Tap -- "Sex Farm"
The Who -- "Now I'm A Farmer"
Suede -- "Animal Lover"
CSNY -- "Our House" (no particular lyrical content, it's just such a sweet song for cuddling afterward)

What's the difference between Mick Jagger and a Scottish farmer?
Mick Jagger sings "Hey you, get off of my cloud".
The farmer says "Hey McLeod, get off of my ewe".

Dunno 'bout sheep-fucking, but John Cale's
Animal Justice EP makes a perfect accompaniment whilst choking your chicken!

I'm surprised this hasn't turned into a discussion on Village Green..."Animal Farm" and all.

I'm surprised it turned into any sort of discussion at all.

Just listening the vinyl of that EP right now. You'd really do that, to this music. Count me out.
Weird, wacky stuff.

Well, I was thinking especially of the notorious onstage incident which...er,
inspired the leadoff track of that EP, "Chicken Shit."
As Cale said afterwards: "I didn't hurt it, I
killed it--it didn't feel a thing!"

Don't forget "Farmer John" and "Farmer's Daughter"....to say nothing of "Pigs On The Wing," "Piggies," "Waltz For A Pig"....why confine yourself to sheep, D?
Truth to tell, I only posted in this thread so I could get an e-mail notification later under the title heading....if nothing else, the funniest one I've seen on the net in some time....

Well, seeing as how the only way you're gonna get that email notification with the ultra cool subject heading is for someone to reply to your post, then "Let It Be Me."

Thanks, Ron. Laughed my ass off! Scroll up to it...yep! It's D all the way!
Someday, perhaps he'll explain how he came to acquire a taste for barnyard animals...and not for cooking purposes....

I don't know this for a fact, but rumor has it that Xenu "O Great One" ["D" to you] caught his houseboy "doing the unmentionable" [in the barnyard sense] in the shed in the back yard. I think it must have been soon thereafter that he acquired a taste himself for these forbidden pleasures.
BTW Ed, you gotta admit that whereas we're a little short in the membership department here [though July's Membership Drive did juuust about take us to our goal of hitting the three-digit mark], we make up for that shortcoming with lots of frivolity and mirth. And sometimes even discussions about music. All to say, hope you hang out on a regular basis.
