Re: New Who Japanese mini-LPs

Another round of mini-LPs from Japan, again with unique mastering. Here's the info from Who's/Two's Missing:
"Cardboard sleeve (mini LP) reissue from The Who featuring the high-fidelity SHM-CD format (compatible with standard CD players) and using 2011 DSD remaster based on the US analog master (subject to change). The cardboard sleeve faithfully replicates the US first press LP, which comes with a serial-numbered label card. Part of an eleven-album The Who SHM-CD cardboard sleeve reissue series featuring albums "Odds And Sodds +12," "Original Soundtrack Tommy," "The Who By Numbers +3," "Who Are You +5," "The Kids Are Alright," "Original Soundtrack Quadrophenia," "Face Dances +5," "It's Hard +4," "The Singles +9," "Who's Missing & Two's Missing +9," and "BBC Sessions +8.""
In the case of Who's/Two's Missing, the 2 disc set has the 2 original albums, plus Doctor, Doctor, Someone's Coming, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Baby Don't You Do It, and Call Me Lightning from Rarities, Postcard, I Don't Even Know Myself and Eyesight To The Blind from the JPN Then & Now bonus CD and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde from Magic Bus.
The other albums will be the original albums in their original mixes followed by the '90s bonus tracks. Not sure if BBC (with the Best Buy bonus disc) will be remastered, or exactly how Who's/Two's Missing will be tackled in terms of source selection. Also not yet sure if The Singles will simply be a copy of what was used for the SHM-SACD or not.
Damn those Japanese and their expensive CDs!
