Alladin Sane 2-disc set

Interesting that this set seems to be getting better reviews than Ziggy. FWIW, the Virgin single disc of this is pretty decent--it isn't really overcompressed at all--and so I doubt they'd do much to this new reissue.
JWB, I'm pretty sure the sax version of "John, I'm Only Dancing" was on Sound and Vision.
Ryko had three versions: the normal version (on any given hits disc...for example, Changesbowie), the alternate mix (a Ziggy bonus track), and the sax version (Sound and Vision).
...
And as a random point, while Mr. Mew might be toning it down a bit, I'm still not quite 100% comitted to his projects. The Kevin Ayers "Joy of a Toy" disc I have has better EQ than the BGO disc, but the NR is...somewhat obvious at points.
