BASIC BLUES MAGOOS a 1968 PSYCH LP on MERCURY SR 61167

This was the LP transfer to CD-R tonight. Perhaps a work of staggering importance and influence, casting a long shadow over other cut-out bin cast-offs!

Not sure if it ever made it to CD, or if anyone could care. Let everyone know if you care and what you think. I care that it was an unplayed copy grading Near Mint on the toughest of scales.

Repertoire actually put it out recently, and there have been several other Issues of Dubious Authenticity circulating around since the mid-nineties.

I always kind of liked the album...I think it's a heck of a lot better than the first two.
