Nitpick of the movement: while TNK and Within You Without You actually works fairly well together, I'm a little miffed that--despite obviously taking great pains to sync the vocal to TNK's very beat-specific backing track--they didn't sync the "they only kneww---ewww---ewwww" bits to the rhythm at all.

Little things, man. Some of the edits are fairly jarring. The war over at sh.tv is providing some fairly amusing reading.

Someone is saying that this CD is supposed to have "I Am The Walrus" in true stereo. Is this true? I thought this CD was supposed to be a big mash-up. Are there any actual complete songs on it with no fucking around?

Yeah, there are. Well, scratch that: there are complete songs with very *little* fucking around (fade-ins/fade-outs are often affected slightly, as many of the tracks segue).

This version of IATW is indeed in true stereo and--offhand--sounds suspiciously close to the Anthology mix. Nice to have, though...and we get the intro this time!

Anyone get a chance to listen to the DVD-A? I skipped around on some of the tracks yesterday. Personally I thought they sounded pretty good, but not spectacular. The mixes were decent as well. The DVD-A is 24 bit/96kHz @ 5.1 channels.

Not here, although I do really *want* to get my hands on it.
