Too bad it's not from their current Rib Burn Off/County Fair glory days.

At first, I was hoping it was Chiliwack.

Thanks. I was suspicious of those youtube dates, given the big difference in energy between the two performances. Now it makes more sense. Am I wrong or was the earlier one from the "Live! Tonight! Sold Out!" video documentary?

A Peter Serafinowicz joint (he's known to Americans as both the voice of Darth Maul and as "Pete" in Shaun of the Dead). Absolutely, drop-dead hilarious. His impressions are priceless; he doesn't quite look like the people he's impersonating, but he projects their mannerisms and nails their inflection to such a degree that it doesn't matter. Nobody else ever has to do another imitation of Paul McCartney, period.

There's another installment based on the pomposity of the Academy Awards that's also well-worth seeing, and features the only imperssion of Alan Alda that ever needs to be done.

(I nabbed these off of b3ta, so apologies if they've been circulating for months already)

Don't see this every day. BJ playing slide live on I Wanna Be Your Man. Poor quality, but it's worth it.

Where's "Lovin' Every Minute of It"? That's got to be one of the most embarrassing videos ever.

That's one Who song where the final mix completely fails it.

They must have been lost in the great flood at Kit Lambert's castle in Venice.

There's two mixes to choose from; I guess you're saying they both fail it ...

I've never thought there was really much difference between the two, so yeah.

Same with Happy Jack, and there's different drum overdubs there.

It is pretty unfortunate that those singles have that anemic production. While I certainly like them as-is, it's really weird to think of "Pictures of Lily" if it sounded like, say, "My Generation."
