Never seen that before. That's creepy on way too many levels.

Thijs van Leer is my new hero.

It had to kick ass to be a Top 40 DJ in the spring of 1973. You could say, "That was HOCUS POCUS by FOCUS!" every hour or so. Really rolls off the tongue.

Thanks for posting those Roxy Music Musikladen vids -- they're a revelation.

I'm enjoying:

The Roxy Music musikladen videos are available on DVD.

Today I looked at '92 vs a 93 live clips of Nirvana doing 'Breed' and it was sad to see/hear how Cobain was going downhill.

last but not least I looked up Michael Jackson from the Motown 25th, to see the 'original' moonwalk, and it's always startling to see after all these years of being a freakball, how relatively normal he used to look.

FWIW that first Nirvana clip is 10/91 and the second is 12/93. I agree that the later performance pales in comparison to the first..

Sorta. It does show that the nosejobs looked weird on him from the beginning.

One of those VH1 specials used a lot of clips at Neverland, but BEFORE the animals and before he was white. Maybe it's just context, but the entire concept of Neverland--a place for little Michael to play!--seems a lot more kosher before he begins his big mutation.
