Townshend "Chinese Eyes" CDs

This is sort of a sidebar, at best, to the other current Townshend thread, which is why I didn't ask there ...

Does anyone happen to agree with White Fang's preference for the first (Atco) CD issue of All the Best Cowboys Have Chinese Eyes over the remaster (Atlantic)? I sold off my Atco when I "upgraded" and I'm wondering if I should get it back. This happens to be my favorite Townshend album.

I don't have high hopes for the new edition(s), but I'd love to be surprised.

I did the same, but honestly don't remember a giant difference between them.

I'm not expecting much from the new ones, either -- I'm waiting to see what the bonuses on the domestic issues look like.

Thanks. I don't remember a huge difference either ... but I'll probably re-grab the Atco disc. After all ... I already have multiple copies of albums I like less.
