Luke might be the only one qualified to chip in here, but I'll put it out there anyway.
I'm visiting friends in Milwaukee soon, and I'm going to spend a day record shopping before hooking up with them. I'm most interested in used vinyl, and not interested in niche (e.g. punk/metal only, dance/techno only) stores.
After some pruning, here are the stores that look the most promising:
Atomic Records
Musical Memories
Spin Dizzy
Rush-Mor
Lotus Land
Flipside
Exclusive Co.
Flipville
Farwell Music
Mean Mountain Music
Any thoughts on these places? Are any closed? Other recommendations?

Record stores in Milwaukee?
We were right about Vietnam. We were right about Nixon. We were right about Reaganomics. Trust us -- we're right about Bush, too.

You know, I haven't done any music shopping in Milwaukee for a few years, and even when I did, it was never that much. The Exclusive Company is kind of a local discount chain. The prices are generally good (although a dollar or two more with a credit card), but I don't think I've ever seen too much out of the ordinary there. And it's all new, mostly CDs.
I honestly don't remember the names of the other few stores I've been to...
