Ok...so after hearing Rogan rave about these two tracks years ago, I FINALLY got around to listening to some snippets of "She's The Kind Of Girl" and "One In A Hundred" -- the "pseudo Byrds reunion" tracks from 1970...via the magic of overdubs -- and I'm totally impressed. They both sound like great lost Byrds tracks from '65-'66 and probably should have been included on the box set.
My question is: Where's the best place to get them in terms of sound quality on CD? The Gene Clark/Byrds Raven comp, Roadmaster or American Dreamer? Or are they all fairly close?
They're both really good...easily bettering anything on the '73 reunion album, IMO.
Edit: Did some more checking. There are alternate mixes of both tracks on the GC "Flying High" comp. I sampled them...and didn't like 'em as much as the regular mixes.

I was about to mention that. I actually like the "Flying High" ones. I guess your mileage may vary.
I don't have them with me, so I can't AB 'em, but remember that Raven generally tends to pinch from otherwise available sources, so it's likely that all non-FH tracks sound similar.
