Anyone have waveforms to Rhino's Paul Simon remasters?

Or a review, too.
I'm thinking of getting these, but by last count, the Television remasters, the punk box set, the James Taylor compilation, and others were all compressed with treble boosts.
The first two CD's don't sound bad at all, but I don't want to spring for the remasters if they're compressed or etched sounding.
