Is 'SBMD' = super bit mapping?


Super Bit Map[ping?] Direct. Used to convert from DSD to PCM. Most hybrid SACDs have a little logo.

The CD (and CD layer of the SACD) sounded quite nice, but now of course I'm biased towards the SACD layer.
