Today I got the West German "Hot Rocks" discs with a special slipcase!

They match the "good" disc in Andreas's post exactly. The matrix for HR1 is 02.

Only paid $32, that ain't bad.

Special slipcase?

Does it say "digitally remastered"?

The front of the slipcase has an "Out Of Our Heads" picture, and a sticker that says "digitally remastered from original master recordings" and lists some of the songs.

The back looks like the back of the Abcko "Hot Rocks", with the tracklist all bunched together at the bottom, except it also says "digitally remastered..." and there is a copyright of 1990 at the bottom.

The discs both have the "digitally remastered" banner.

Hey guys - my discs don't seem to appear anywhere on this page. http://home.arcor.de/folon2/stones_london_cds.html

They have an old London logo, BA 900 *and* MFSL on the back insert, "digitally remastered" banner on the front, and "Made In W. Germany By PDO" in the center of the disc, which is silver. The matrix is 820 141-2 02, so the content is the "good" version.

So the art and content matches the second pressing, but it has a BA 900 like the third pressing.

The discs have an inner ring like the third pressing, but it has an old London logo and those are not supposed to have the BA 900 on the third pressing art!

So my discs are an undocumented variation between pressings 2 and 3? 3rd pressing discs in 2nd pressing cases? But that still doesn't explain the BA 900.

Lie I said previously, my (good) CD is not exactly mentionned on the site, as well. The back cover looks exactly like this, but with the additional "BA 900" under the barcode. (Inner ring: "820 141-2 02").

Yeah, mine too.

What about your front cover and disc? Which pressings do those match?

The front cover has the "digitally remastered" banner, and the CD has the old style London logo. It seems to match some of the 3rd pressings. The 2nd pressings do not have the "Made In W.Germany by PDO" in the inner ring, if I understand correctly.

Why don't you guys e-mail that site owner?
