I saw this 3 disc set in a store Saturday and was wondering if anyone has heard this yet. I am interested in any opinions on sound quality and performance.
Thanks
Any opinions on The Who Live at Royal Albert Hall SACD?

It's exactly the same as the DVD, with the exception of two extra songs from the main show, and four "bonus" songs from the 2002 RAH shows (the last with Entwistle).
I quite like the performance -- I think it's a good example of the "2000 Who." Well worth it if you're a Who fan. Unless you're a maniac, though, I'd advise just getting the DVD.
Sound quality is about the same as the DVD -- compressed and bass-shy. Not worth getting for great sound quality IMO.

The question is, is the SACD any better than the CD-only release...?

I haven't heard the CD-only version, but the SACD doesn't exactly blow me out of my chair. I guess I *could* compare the CD and SACD layers of the SACD, but that sounds like work and I doubt I'd find much.
One semi-interesting bit of trivia -- to fit everything on, the 2000 show is now spread across all three discs instead of just the first two like the CD. This was apparently a last-minute change, as there's a big ugly black sticker on the back covering up the old tracklist.
